Love the website,I have grown a few from seed which I bought by post but they grow too slowly here as our summers in west scotland are too cool.Certain types of Palm tree do very well though.

Ďakujem za rýchle uverejnenie môjho odkazu! Pravdepodobne došlo k chybnému prekladu textu, ja som sa informoval o spôsobe zisťovania veku stromov Ginkgo biloba (vek = počet rokov, ktoré má strom ginka dvojlaločného!). Ďakujem za informáciu!";

Vaše Ginkgo stránky sú obdivuhodné a pravidelne ich sledujem! Pri našom výskume kultúrneho rozšírenia Ginkgo biloba na Slovensku, sa najťažšie určuje vek stromov ginka. Prosím Vás o poskytnutie informácie ako zistiť vek stromov ginka? Ďakujem za informáciu!";

He tenido que hacer un trabajo de investigación para la asignatura de Análisis de las Formas en la carrera Licenciatura de Historia de las artes plásticas. Esta página me asombró, pues no esperaba tanta información, sobre todo en relación con las artes.
Tengo un ginkgo biloba en mi jardín, la zona es árida pero preparé la tierra, la cual es muy alcalina como el agua de riego. Tengo que disminuir su pH o cuál abono me recomienda para que crezca más fuerte? Muchas gracias !!!!!";

Great this page. Can it be just a coïncidence that during my first lesson of my study Biology at the University Groningen I had to draw a leave of a Ginkgo? And that in my birthplace Harderwijk at the place of what was once the botanical garden of the not-existing anymore of university of Harderwijk the only excisting and remaining tree is a Ginkgo biloba, planted by Carl von Linné? Just that's why the Ginkgo biloba is my symbol.

Your site was a wonderful surprise. I love this tree as I do others of unimaginable age. I have two planted in my yard as well as the Dawn Redwood, another living fossil from China. What's sad is that even if I lived to a Guiness Record age, these trees will still be infants. So I look at them and wonder how long they get to last.
Thank you for your hard work and time.

Town/country Huéscar - Granada (España)"; Gracias por éste sitio web. Tengo un joven Ginkgo en mi patio.
Todavía no sé dónde lo plantaré definitivamente.
Pero es algo especial.
Ahora están brotando nuevas hojitas pequeñas.
Estoy enamorado de él.
Un saludo.";

for the last several years I've noticed more young ginkgo trees being planted in Washington State; Cor, your work spreading information about these beautiful trees is rewarded!

Greetings from Buffalo, NY. Close to the Old First Ward (Irish area) there's a dilapidated housing complex that is planted with gorgeous Ginkos! They're over 50 years old and it tears my heart to know that they will be cut down as "progress" ensues. I've been harvesting their seeds for several years and love the smell and ritual of it

Planted a nursery bought Gingko about 6 years ago in my back yard. Have discovered some 100 year old Gingkos in Leavenworth Kansas. Amazing and beautiful. I want to grow some from seed.
