I have used the leaves of the tree as a template in decorating pottery I have made. Nothing beats nature.

Wow what a message of hope, seeing these trees survive such an atrocious attack. It's so nice to see these trees have priority instead of the buildings around them. More trees should be treated like this.

I have just supplied a local primary school with Ginkgo biloba tress (6ft tall) for use in the classroom to help them create a Jurrasic forest!
I hope my love of this tree and all the things they will learn about it's amazing life will inspire future horticulturalists.

Richard Dobrowolski 2 Sep 2011 [email protected] It may be of some interest to some of you out there that in the aboriginal language of the tribes of Austrailia the word "GIN"means "woman" and in english slang books and the Oxford english dictionary the word "GINK"means "man or fellow!

I just found your wonderful site. I have access locally to a number of male and female trees in the same location. I plan to make a serious attempt to grow a number of seedlings next season.
