Hallo Cor.

Top site!

Succes verder. Met vriendelike groet.

Hello there

I have an aunt in Germany who loves Ginkgo trees and in every city she visits, she tries to find one. I live in northern Finland and can tell you we have a ginkgo here in the Oulu University Botanical Gardens, in a greenhouse.

Is this maybe the most northern tree ?

Thanks for this website

Thanks for all the wonderful advice and inspiration. Seed has germinated and now 4 inches tall. Think I may be overwatering it.

Wondered what our tree was because of rare leaf shape. Now very surprised by history, medicine, etc.

Thanks

We planted our Ginkgo in the garden but noted that it did not like a windy spot - difficult to find a sunny or half shady spot that was not windy. So we replanted in a pot and in its third year is thriving - now about 1 meter tall but a very thin stem that needs support. should we replant in a bigger pot as it grows more?

Hi you'r doing such a great job with this website! My wife and I love so much the Ginkgo we used 33 young trees as a party favor (bombonniere) for our son's baptism! check yourself on Instagram kojoman87.

ginkgos at Scarlino Scalo (2)
at Follonica 1 big one at Giardino della Forestale, 1 on my balcony
at Filare at my sister's garden, it's pretty young still.

Great web site, Thanks. We have two Ginkos in a cow pasture and the cows love the leaves, they eat them as fast as they come down in the fall. No harm done.

There is a big old Ginkgo tree on the corner of Maple and State Street in Bangor, Maine, USA. Did you have that one listed?

I am a 75 year old known as GinkgoGal to many. There are several reasons why my persona is spiritually connected to this tree but that's another story. Peter Crane's GINKGO led me to you. We have a 15 year old "Saratoga"and 2 three year "Autumn Golds" on our property, all of which we planted out here on the Central Illinois Prairie. Happily the community boasts many ginkgo's one of which is near the entrance of an Illinois State University building which drops smelly seeds but that's okay with me! There is a very old one in Evergreen Cemetery where Adlai Stevenson II is laid to rest.

Muchas gracias!"

Wow, what a website!! Thank you for all the information. I'd gathered a hundred gingko seeds to propagate for a church fundraiser in Spring and was looking to find some more info - and what a find!!
